Janet Soskice, The Sisters of Sinai.  ***

Jill Jonnes, Eiffel’s Tower.  ***

Henry Chadwick, Saint Augustine of Hippo:  A Life. ***

****    Excellent for monastery table reading

***      Works well for monastery table reading

**        Satisfactory table reading

*          Not satisfactory
