Table Reading humor – George, Nicholas and Wilhelm

One of the great funny lines of table reading occurred a few days back, in reference to King George V‘s stamp collection: “By the end of his life he had amassed the largest collection in the world – 325 albums full.  When he became king, he collected only stamps with his own face on them” (Carter 2010, p. 194).
